Such a Perfect Day

Today was such a good day, I decided to write a blog post about it!

I had a bagel with cream cheese and a banana for breakfast, along with an iced coffee. Then I took Ruby out for a walk while my girlfriend shaved her legs. I took Ruby past some parks. It was sunny but windy and cold.

Then my girlfriend and I went to the local rec center for a scheduled sensory-friendly swim, where there is no music and the diving board is off limits. There were only 3 or 4 other swimmers, so there was lots of room. Apparently this older woman was giving us the stink eye, but I don't really care. I was there to have fun, and fun we indeed had.

After swimming, Cora and I went to a cafe, where she got a black coffee and a loaded bagel with egg, bacon, lettuce, tomato and cheese. I had a lemon loaf and a vanilla latte. The coffee was amazing, and it was a local cafe too!

We sat down at the park to drink our coffee. We sat at a gazebo picnic table!!

Then, as we were walking home, we saw this kitty who was SO FRIENDLY and came up to us and let us pet it. We're not sure what gender the cat is. It had some mats and crust in its fur. It was such a lovely thing to add to our already perfect afternoon.

Then we got home and I took a nap. I got so much exercise because we walked everywhere and also swam! I will hopefully sleep really well tonight.
